Avery Katz

Avery Katz is a Director focused on merger arbitrage and event-driven equities. Mr. Katz joined Taconic in 2015 as an Associate and became a Director in 2017. Mr. Katz is a member of the Economic Club of New York. Prior to joining Taconic, Mr. Katz worked at Regals Capital, Attara Capital (formerly Atticus European Fund), Atticus Capital, and Lazard Freres. He earned a B.A. in History, magna cum laude, from Columbia University.
