James Thompson

James Thompson is a Principal and head of European trading. He is a member of Taconic’s Portfolio Risk, Trading and Brokerage Allocation, Counterparty Risk, Valuation, and Business Continuity Plan committees and the Diversity and Inclusion council. Mr. Thompson joined Taconic in 2009 and has headed the London office since 2013. Prior to joining Taconic, Mr. Thompson worked at KBC Alternative Investment Management, Mako Global Derivatives, and Accenture Ltd. Mr. Thompson received a B.A. in Economics, with honors, from the University of Nottingham.
