Margaret Jones

Margaret Jones is a Principal and Portfolio Manager focused on global merger arbitrage and event-driven equities and is a member of Taconic’s Investment and Portfolio Risk Committees. She has previously served as Portfolio Manager for Taconic’s Merger Dislocation Funds. Ms. Jones is a member of the Economic Club of New York and was recognized in the Hedge Fund Journal’s Tomorrow’s Titans and 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds in 2019. Prior to joining Taconic in 2005, Ms. Jones worked at ACI Capital Select Fund (now known as Ingleside Investors) and Merrill Lynch & Co. Ms. Jones graduated from the Management & Technology program at the University of Pennsylvania, magna cum laude, with a BS in economics from Wharton and a BS in engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied sciences.
