Nate Kempner

Nate Kempner is a Principal and co-Chief Investment Officer of Taconic’s Opportunity Fund. He co-chairs the Investment committee and serves on the Portfolio Risk, Valuation, Counterparty Risk, Business Function Management, and ESG committees. Mr. Kempner joined Taconic in 2010 and became co-Chief Investment Officer in 2024. Prior to joining Taconic, he worked at Blackstone Group. Mr. Kempner received a B.S. in Engineering Science (Electrical) and Economics, cum laude and with distinction, in both majors, from Yale University. He also received an M.B.A., with high distinction, from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar and received the John L. Loeb Award.
