Peyton McNutt

Peyton McNutt is a Principal and General Counsel. She joined Taconic in 2010 as Associate General Counsel and became Deputy General Counsel in 2018. In 2021, she became General Counsel and in 2022, she became a Principal. During her time at Taconic, she has helped structure the firm’s opportunistic credit, co-investment, and fund-of-one products. Ms. McNutt was recognized for her impact on the hedge fund industry in the Hedge Fund Journal’s 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds list in 2022. Prior to joining Taconic, Ms. McNutt worked at D.E. Shaw and Sidley Austin LLP. Ms. McNutt earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas and a J.D. from the New York University School of Law.
