Christopher DeLong
Christopher DeLong is a Principal and Chief Investment Officer of Taconic’s Opportunity and Event-Driven Funds. During his time at Taconic, his primary responsibilities have included capital allocation, risk management, and building out new lines of business. Mr. DeLong has been a Principal at Taconic since its inception. He leads the Portfolio Risk Management committee and is a member of the Investment, Valuation, Counterparty Risk, Business Continuity Plan, and ESG committees. Prior to joining Taconic, Mr. DeLong worked in the Equity Derivatives Group of J.P. Morgan and was a corporate Associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, specializing in transactions adjacent to complex derivatives. He also had the honor of serving as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Ralph K. Winter of the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. DeLong received an A.B. in European History, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
